About me

I am a contemporary oil painter based in Zurich, Switzerland.

I have more than ten years of professional painting practice. I studied painting in Saint Petersburg and have taken part in exhibitions and artistic projects, including exhibitions associated with the Union of Artists of Saint Petersburg.

My paintings explore quietness, atmosphere and the emotional character of ordinary scenes — figures caught between gestures, animals, masks and objects that carry memory. I work primarily in oil on canvas and build my paintings on restrained colour, simplified forms and painterly texture.

Every painting is an original, and I sign each one myself.
